This document details the legal information regarding Inventeur d'Odyssées and the terms and conditions applicable to our custom travel planning services.
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all personalised travel planning services offered by Inventeurs d'Odyssées, represented by Hind El Gharbi, hereinafter “the Service Provider,” to its clients, hereinafter “the Client.” They govern the contractual relationship between the two parties.
2. Nature of the Service
The Service Provider acts exclusively as a consultant for personalized travel planning. Its role is to design customized itineraries, provide personalized recommendations (accommodations, activities, transportation, local service providers), and assist the Client in planning their trip.
The Service Provider is neither a travel agency nor a tour operator. It does not sell any tourism services in the legal sense and does not make any reservations or payments on behalf of the Client.
All reservations are made directly by the Client. The Client remains solely responsible for entering into contracts, complying with the terms and conditions of service providers, and making the associated payments.
The Service Provider shall not be held liable for any failures or incidents related to services booked with third-party service providers. The Customer expressly acknowledges that the Service Provider’s role is strictly advisory and limited to assisting with planning.
The Client is solely responsible for verifying the terms and conditions of third-party service providers, completing administrative formalities, and purchasing appropriate travel insurance covering, in particular, cancellation, delays, medical expenses, baggage, and liability.
3. Order and Confirmation
3.1 The service begins with an exploratory discussion to define the Client’s needs. A personalized, non-binding quote is then provided.
3.2 The order is considered firm and final upon written approval of the quote and/or payment of the required deposit. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Once the quote has been approved, no cancellation will result in a refund of the deposit.
3.4 Any changes requested by the Client may result in additional fees depending on the amount of work required.
3.5 The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse an order, particularly if:
the information provided is insufficient or inconsistent,
the project does not align with the Service Provider’s philosophy or areas of expertise,
the volume of requests prevents the Service Provider from providing high-quality service.
4. Rates and Payment
4.1 Rates are quoted in euros and cover exclusively the planning service.
4.2 Payment is made via [specify accepted payment methods]. Bank fees are the responsibility of the Client.
4.3 As this is a customized service, no refund may be requested after payment has been made.
5. Responsibilities
The Service Provider acts solely as an advisor and intermediary. It shall not be held liable for services booked by the Client with third parties.
The Client is responsible for their travel documents and for purchasing appropriate travel insurance.
The Service Provider’s liability is strictly limited to the provision of its planning services.
6. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to travel planning services for a specific date.
7. Personal Data
The data collected is used exclusively for order management and customer relations. It is never shared with third parties without consent.
8. Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is assigned to the courts of the registered office of Inventeur d'Odyssées.
